Val Edward Kilmer, an American actor, musician, and artist. He became popular in the mid-1980s after a string of appearances in comedy films, starting with Top Secret and Real Genius as well as the military action film Top Gun, the fantasy film Willow, and the western Tombstone. VAL KILMER has throat cancer in 2015. Val is Cancer free after undergoing a tracheotomy, Chemotherapy, and radiation, he also prayed for healing and turned his Christian Science faith. He said in his memoir that he had been healed of cancer for over 4 years now and there has never been any reoccurrence. He said that he is so grateful to people.

His speech has been affected by cancer but he has been doing voice exercises daily. VAL KILMER said that the fact of my impeded speech could spell the end of my career only served to motivate me.

He toured for his one-man show about Mark Twain. His next role on the big screen is Top Gun: Maverick, which opens June 24 he reprises his role as LT Tom ‘Iceman’ Kazansky.
