The Crown is a Royal period drama on Netflix. It features the lineage of the Royal family of London, dating back from 1847. The Crown season 3 is already streaming on Netflix, Nut its season 4 is already underway. On April 9, 2019, the streaming platform announced it finally cast its Princess Diana for season 4, signaling that the future Princess of Wales will not, in fact, appear in the show’s forthcoming season 3.

This show is created and written by Peter Morgan. It is from Morgan’s movie. The Queen and his play. The Audience that the idea of the show was developed. The show debuted on Netflix in November 2016, Season 2 followed in December 2017. With the third one releasing in November 2019. Each season consists of 10 episodes, with a total number of 30 episodes released so far.

The filming of season 4 starts in August 2019 and completely in February 2020. Morgan officially confirmed that the show will wrap with its 5th and final season.

Some of the characters from season 3 are returning for it. These characters are included, Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth, Helena Carter as Princess Margaret, Josh O’Connor as Prince Charles, Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip, Erin Doherty as Princess Anne and the new 2 major characters added to the cast are Emma Corrin as Lady Diana Spencer, Gillian Anderson as Margaret Thatcher.

The Crown running for 6 seasons but now that we have begun work on the stories for season 5 It has become clear to me that this is the perfect time and place to stop, Morgan. The Crown makers and showrunner said in a statement in January, I m grateful to Netflix and Sony for supporting me in this decision.
