Microsoft’s next-generation console, the Xbox Series X will launch as per Schedule this holiday season, According to Xbox head Phil Spencer but the games that will launch with that system could see production delays, Spencer told CNBC in an interview on Thursday and Phil Spencer is happy with Microsoft’s plans for the next-gen Xbox hardware launch late this year, but It is uncertain If series X games will probably manage to hit their launch date. Microsoft’s Xbox Series X is slated for a Holiday 2020 release, which will put it right up against Sony’s PS5. This is based on last console launchers, and We are expecting it to hit sometime in November.

Microsoft’s Xbox Series X doesn’t yet have an official price, But we think it to go for a premium given its high-end specs. Both the original Xbox One and Xbox One X launched at a $499 price point. The upcoming console has been added to Microsoft’s Xbox All Access program, which allows you to finance an Xbox One S and Xbox One X for as little as $19.99 per month.

SPECIFICATIONS

Microsoft’s Xbox Series X will utilize the latest chipsets and architecture from AMD with the processing unit to be custom and based on the powerful Zen 2 Ryzen. It is 8-Core with each core running at up to 3.8GHz. The GPU is also custom and based on Radeon RDNA 2 architectures. It has 12 teraflops of processing power double that of the Xbox One X. That makes it more than capable of Native 4K 60fps gaming.

An Internal 1TB SSD is available for storage, which speeds up data access dramatically. And there is an expansion slot on the rear to add on optional proprietary 1TB SSD card. The Xbox Series X is also capable of using USB 3.0 hard drives, much like the Xbox One family.

Microsoft’s Xbox Series X features ports for power, Ethernet LAN, 2 USB 3,2 ports, and one HDMI 2.1 out. There is also a storage expansion that is for the optional proprietary SSD Card.
