The Viacom CBS network will not bring Lights out with David spade back to the channel after the production of its regular show was upended by the  CORONAVIRUS pandemic.

Joe Dirt star Spade has been keeping busy during the lockdown with a number of online vignettes, featuring the stars of Netflix’s Tiger King doc series. Spade will continue with this social distancing show for the next few weeks, but Comedy Central will not bring the show back once production is able to resume.

The Hollywood Reporter claims its scores haven’t been the most effective. Reportedly, it has drawn in around half the viewers of The Every day Show.

The outlet claims Comedy Central has discovered it difficult to fill the slot beforehand occupied by The Every day Show ever since Stephen Colbert moved from the community over to CBS. They’ve tried and failed with different productions as properly together with the Nightly Show and The Opposition With Jordan Klepper.
