Jon Jones returns to the Octagon on April 23 was his first fight since the UFC stripped him of his light heavyweight title and suspended him after he turned himself in to the police on felony hit and run charges.
THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME!!
This isn’t the first time Jones has run into issues with the police. In 2015, Jones was stripped of his light heavyweight title and suspended indefinitely from the UFC after he pleads guilty to a hit and run case, for which he was put on probation. He was reinstated to the UFC later that year. Last year, he was charged with battery after allegedly assaulting a cocktail waitress in a strip club, slapping her in her genital area and putting her in a chokehold. He took a plea deal in October.

COMMENTS OF FORMER UFC FIGHTER!!
Former UFC fighter Ben Askren tweeted out after Jones’ arrest: “For the life of me I can’t figure out why he doesn’t hire a buddy and pay him $50k a year to be his driver.”
