Outlander is an Adventure Drama Television web show. It is based on the novel series of the same name by Diana Gabaldon. The web show premiered on August 9, 2014. Outlander fans are still a few days away from the premiere of season 5 But the web show has already been officially confirmed for another story after that. On May 9, 2018, Starz official announced that the show would be renewed for 2 more seasons.

‘Outlander’ Season 6 likely won’t air until 2021, as season 5 is only premiering in February of 2020 and Right Now, only season 5 and 6 are in the process, but should Starz choose to keep renewing. She has also confirmed that should Starz renew again, both she and Sam Heughan are both under contract for at least one more season. Recently promos for the upcoming episode of Outlander have teased some major turning points for Claire’s husband Jamie. But while Jamie builds his militia the Starz series is teasing a major decision for the former nurse.

Assuming no major screencast members leave Outlander anytime soon, expect to see these main players return in the season included are Caitriona Balfe as Claire Randall Frase, Sam Heughan as Jamie Fraser, Richard Rankin as Roger Wakefield, Sophie Skelton as Brianna Randall.

Assuming that everything goes well with season 6, further renewals seem likely too, Deadline reported that Jeffrey Hirsch, president, and CEO of Starz, is open to the idea of developing a 7 season.
